PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Beverly A. Price is the multi-Emmy Award-winning President of The Beverly Price Company, a broadcast media production company, she founded in 1987. Ms. Price has served as a producer, writer, director and consultant to numerous clients on a variety of projects, including:

Prior to establishing her firm, Ms. Price was with Johnson Publishing Company, where she served as Senior Producer on the Ebony-Jet Showcase, a nationally syndicated, weekly magazine show.
She also worked as a Producer for the ABC-TV network affiliate, WLS-TV, while with the station; Ms. Price received two Emmys Awards. Recently, she received her third Emmy Award as a Producer/Director for the Chicago Urban League’s breakthrough weekly television series, NextTV which aired on FOX-TV in 2009.
She is also the Producer/Director and Writer of the feature length documentary, India of K-Town, which will have its premiere in Chicago the summer of 2010.
In addition, she has traveled extensively producing and directing projects for clients on location in South America, Central America, Africa and Israel.
While broadcast production has been the lifelong professional work of Ms. Price, she is devoted to making a difference in the lives of young people and those in need. She is the founder of New Thing Ministries, Inc., and aspires to be a “hands-on philanthropist”, believing that to whom much is given much is required.
Ms. Price is a graduate of The American University in Washington, D.C. and has also studied at Jerusalem University College in Israel.
